The Competition Rules:
The competition is free to join.
There will be 3 competition groups: Grades K-3, Grades 4-6, and Grades 7 & up. Your group will be based upon your the grade you are in at school at the beginning of 2020.
There are two categories of awards: the people's choice award and the judge's choice award. The people's choice award will be given to the project that receives the most total hearts and stars. The judge's choice award will be given to the project with the highest score from the judges on the topics of creativity, aesthetics, comprehensibility, complexity, and functionality.
The project must be created by you, and cannot be a remix of other people's projects. You have to clearly give credit for any images or sounds borrowed from others. No code or algorithms may be borrowed from others.
You may submit multiple times before the deadline, but the last submission will be the one that is scored.

Aug 15th, 11:59 PM: Deadline for project submission for the 2020 Scratch Cup.
Aug 22nd, 8PM: The winners of the 2020 Scratch Cup will be announced on Zoom.
Submission deadline: Aug 15, 2020. 11:59pm US Eastern Time (ET).
